Fortune 500 CEO Suppresses Multiple Negative Articles

Challenge

We were approached for branded SEO services by the CEO of a Fortune 500 company facing numerous attacks and unfavorable listings in Google. Positions 1, 3 and 5 on Google page one were all undesirable at the outset, with 12 unfavorable listings overall within the first five pages of Google search results published by major media outlets.

The CEO, whose name was being searched more than 14,000 times monthly in Google, felt the search landscape misrepresented their character, given that the unfavorable material was produced based on claims by an individual that later admitted to inaccuracies in their claim in addition to an in-depth investigation that found no evidence to support the primary allegations. The CEO sought our expertise in earning a more accurate narrative and fairer representation of the CEO’s character in the Google SERPs.
