MacLaren “Mac” Cummings is Terakeet’s CEO and Co-Founder. Mac co-founded Terakeet in 2001 with Patrick Danial after launching his first company from his dorm room at Cornell University in 1999. 

Mac also co-founded his first venture, Mindshark Software and Consulting, with Danial. The pair quickly built Mindshark into a successful technology consultancy through Mac’s tireless sales and marketing efforts, securing contracts with Forbes, Money Magazine, Siebert Financial, and General Electric.

Terakeet succeeded Mindshark in 2001, and it has since provided Fortune 1000 brands and top executives with cutting-edge SEO and online reputation management services. Mac has directed Terakeet’s ORM efforts since 2007, including the launch of ReputationManagement.com as a dedicated sub-brand.

Mac is responsible for setting the vision, creating enterprise value and directing the overall strategy for both Terakeet and ReputationManagement.com. He has overseen the sales and marketing process responsible for signing global brands from disruptive challenger companies to global enterprises.

Mac splits his time between Florida and Central New York with his wife and three children. He is originally from Central New York and continues to support the region with investments and civic action.
